A large growth equity firm with a global presence, gave its Research Operations team the task of coming up with a solution to improve the due diligence process, access to knowledge, resources, data dashboards, and network of contacts.
Search for resources, get information from SMEs, share market research, and democratize data access.
Stakeholders were invited to participate in online workshops where we outlined the issues that needed to be solved by new tools. Quick interviews with end users were then conducted to identify their needs and pain points as well as to close any knowledge gaps we had.
After that, our UX team quickly created a design prototype of a concept solution, which was then used as a starting point for discussions with stakeholders, highlighting dependencies and risks, and deciding on technical solutions. After a few prototype-refining sessions, we had a good idea of how the solution should look and what tools and functionalities should be developed first and form a pilot.
We have agreed upon the sprint rituals and delivery process with the PMs and backend engineers of the client. A fluid collaboration and transparency in our output followed.
We use rapid design prototypes to identify unmet needs and problems, as well as to flush out additional requirements.
